Microgestio is a dishonest company that do not inform you correctly about the products, and there is no information available at all about consumer rights in the store

In 2006 I decided to purchase a MacBook laptop, that I wanted with an English keyboard. I found the distributor in Barcelona, I contacted them and ordered the laptop with the English keyboard. The store is called Microgestio and I definitely do not recommend to buy anything in this store, as they will not be honest with you.

I waited for the product that arrived about 2 months later during the summer.

I unfortunately did not know any consumer rights, and was not aware that you can return the product within 15 days. The seller did NOT inform about this at all, and there was NO information at all in the store. Later on the seller admitted that they returned several laptops (the same type) with manufacture failure. I am wondering in this case, why he did not mention at all that I should go back within 15 days, if there is a problem. I paid for this laptop 1500 Euros, which is a lot of money.

(The funny thing is that lately I purchased a technical product for 30! Euros, and even here the seller informed that I need to return the product in case of any problem. I am now getting this information in every store for any small purchases)

I brought the laptop back and they recognized officially that the it had a manufacturer/logic board failure. They offered a repair, but I wanted a replacement. I also had to leave the computer in the store during several days, weeks, which happened several times.

We never came to a solution with the store. I went to the consumer office and reported the fact, but nothing happened. The store did not accept my complaint, and they put an end to it.

Later on pieces from the top case started to break down (without the computer falling, and being extremely careful with it), also the plug is broken. They offered to replace the top case, even though it was 2 months after 1 year, so without warranty. Now, not even another year passed piece from the top case broke down. They offered to exchange it again. I had to leave every time the computer in the office during 5 days, just that they could take a photo and send to Apple. Now I need to bring the computer back, and wait until they repair.

I think that a product that costs 1500 Euros should not break into pieces in such a short time, (except in case if somebody breaks it on purpose), and that people work with computers and we cannot leave these things for reparation during such long time.

I contacted Apple again and explained that there was never a resolution to my case...

I did spend hours, days, weeks and months, and no solution was offered. Not from the store and not from the company, which is difficult to contact as they do not even have an office.

I went to the mentioned store at least 20 times, wrote report, spent hours on the phone..

Obviously this problem comes back every time something happens.

I finally managed to speak to some manager 2 days ago in their center in Ireland, we were on the phone half an hour, but this person could not offer any solution, and said that I should have dealt with this after I purchased the computer, within 6 months. Well, I did, but nothing happened.

I am wondering if there is anything that can be done, any entity that can give me information, advice. I am wondering how can such things happen. Apple is a big company, so they can do everything?

I asked Mr. Ivan Penide (penide. I@euro. Apple.com) who is in charge of the Spanish custumers, working in their call center in Ireland, for all the documents related to my case. It took Mr. Penide about 4 months, and he still could not send all the documents.
