I went into my local Sears to purchase a Samsung LN40A650, with print outs from two, what I consider local, stores, both with real physical store fronts, and they have both been in business for many years.
Adorama and Beach Camera both have prices lower than Sears by $400, both offer free shipping, and I pay tax no matter where I get it from.
The in-store sales person told me he couldn't authroize it and I was told they would not match their prices, but I could call the store manager.
I called the store manager and found that his definition of local meant in the same city.
I've contacted Sear's HQ and await a response.
