Circuity was having a 24 month paymeny plan for big screen tvs over $1000.00 "apply today, buy today!" guess what? I applied and they said sorry, you will have to wait for a reply in the mail from chase bank. A week later i got a notice that im not eligible for credit for c.C.! What a scam. I tried a few yrs ago at a different location. Was processed in a few minutes but again, i wasnt eligible! This is why they are going under. You cant get credit unless you have perfect credit. Very few ppl have perfect credit or the cash to buy their big ticket items. This is why they are losing their shirt. They cant sell unless customers have a way to pay which most ppl dont unless they can get the c.C. Credit. I do not feel one bit sorry for them. Ppl, imcluding myself would buy but arent allowed to because of imperfect credit. They need to change the bank they deal with or take the payments themselves. I went to a rent to own place and got a beautiful 60 inch dlp tv hassle free! And the payments for the 2 yrs arent too bad and include 100 percent replacement or repair guarantee. Screw circuit city! Dont buy there unless you have the cash, youll be denied credit for their so called 24 mo interest free deals!!!
