Looks like www.centralelectronicsplus.com is alive and well. Guess Jerry Brown has not taken any action against them. Maybe he hasn't gotten any messages. Will try to send him one.
I'm a 78 year old patient looking for a new Samsung LCD TV. They obviously advertised the lowest price; so got my interest. Several e-mail contacts made me suspicous.
Just happened to look at Craig's List and notice a comment about "wired money" being an indication of a SCAM. Oh boy, was I lucky...
Sent a 3rd e-mail to Central Electronics Plus stating..."Since I am so near to you, I plan to come to 16046 Kaplan Ave, pay for the Samsung LN52A850 LCD TV with cash. Please advise date and time for my paying and picking it up".
Got an e-mail back from Maline Thomas stating "they are a shipping firm and deliver only by UPS, etc, etc, etc".
Don't plan any further correspondence to them!!! But will try to e-mail someone in Arnolds staff.
