World-electronics-central.com is a scam website. Do not order anything from this site. You'll notice that any product they are selling is significantly cheaper than the manufactures price. This should be your first clue that something is not right.
I almost ordered something from them, but I couldn't get past the fact that the camera lens I wanted was $600 bucks cheaper on their site, than ANY where else. Didn't make sense. I emailed them and asked why it was so much cheaper, but no reply.
I then started digging around and found a little buzz on the internet from people asking the same questions. The nail in the coffin is when I looked up the address of their "Main Office" as listed on their site: 3000 Kutztown Road,
Reading, PA 19605, USA.
That address in PA is actually the address for a company called World Electronics (they make elevator parts). I called World Electronics and they told me they have been receiving calls from people for a couple of weeks asking the same question. They assured me that they have nothing to do with World Electronics Central and that they are aware that this fake company is passing their address off as their own and are in the process of trying to get it taken down.
