I am posting this rant as a pissed off single mother who is sick of ppl taking advantage of me.
JAMSTER is out scamming ppl with text messages and once they send you a text then they deduct $9.99 from your phone. Even if you dont reply back. Because it is a subscription service, they will continue to charge monthly if you do not contact them and cancel it.
There are several ways they can get your number, but I do not know how they got mine. I never texted any numbers from commercials offering free ring tones or horoscopes or anything, and that is one way they get your number.
Jamster is under investigation for fraud and scamming. Don't let this happen to you there is a block you can get on your phone to prevent premium text messages at this time, BUT you must ask for it Cincinnati Bell does not tell you about this protection till after you have alredy been scammed.
Jamster is the devil and Cincinnati Bell is one of his minions. Verizon, T-mobile, Sprint ect... Are all taking care of their clients by refunding them their money and offering a premium text block. Cincinnati Bell however would not help me. No refund and was just plain RUDE.
I am now trying to get a refund trough Jamster but when you call you get no answer. I had to get on their website and chat live with a bot who claimed to be a real person but couldn't even tell me who the president was. They also wanted my full name and address to send me my refund, that would in such take 20 business days to reach me.
I accused them of the scam and taking advantage of a single parent. They never denied it was a scam and also found out that they are under investigation. They didnt deny that either.
PLZ dont let them get you to your money as well.
