Purchased a breast pump manufactured by Avent. Paid a little over $400 for it. It worked fine for 6 months and then we started having problems with it. Red light was blinking and basically pump didn't work. I called Avent and they did provide me with a prepaid shipping lable. Shipped pump back. Received a call from Aida she said that she tested the pump and its working fine. She is shipping the pump back.
Couple of weeks went by didn't receive the pump. Called Avent and spoke with Aida she gave me a tracking # and said that she tracked the shipment and shows that it was delivered and left by the front door. And that there is a "signature release" on file. She said she will call Fedex and call me back. She called back and said that she spoke with fedex and that since there is a "signature release" on file from me to leave the items at the front door if no one answers that there was nothing Fedex or Avent can do. I called Fedex and they told me that what "signature release" means is that the shipper/Avent requested fedex not to get a signature from receipient.
I called Avent and spoke with Aida and explained that to her and she got very argumentative and started to tell me that she did everything right and that the item was delivered and its out of her hands. I asked her if its ok to conference the call with fedex and she refused to do so. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said that she wasn't available and that she would put me thru her voice mail. I left a voice mail for supervisor. Now I am waiting to hear back from them. We will see what happens.
