The website clearly indicates that the DVD-HD860 can playback DIVX format. I had done research on this unit and based on the information listed on their website, I order the DVD-HD860. Once I received the unit, I discovered that it did not playback that format. The user guide and box it came in did not indicate it did either. I called technical support and got past around from one department to another. I ask why they indicated it did playback DIVX, when it does not. No one could not answer me. They all confirmed that I had a point, but that there was nothing wrong with the machine therefore they could not exchange it for a unit that did playback DIVX. Basically told me too bad. I know the phone baggers were only doing what there supervisors were telling them to do, each person I spoke with had to put me on hold for like 3 or 4 minutes, just to come back and say, sorry, can't help you. I don't think this is the first time they have had to deal with this issue. One of the top tier support people even indicated they would have the website corrected, but they never did. So, Samsung is just another rip off company taking advantage of Americans.
