Okay. This site, WiisForLess really does seem like a legitimate site.
At first. But take a closer look, and you'll see, this site is a definite scam. I doubt Nintendo would dare have their Wiis sold for only 20 BUCKS without any profit towards them. The site states that its surveys that allows them so sell Wiis for such a low price. Apparently, they're refurbished and "barely used" Wiis.
Don't fall for that bullshit. If surveys are what's racking in the good money, why the hell don't they offer YOU a survey to keep that money coming in and the Wiis cheap? Also, I doubt surveys could even do such a thing. I first saw the ad for WiisForLess on myspace, so no doubt these people are scamming in good money.
On the site, it says its "hacker proof" and GoDaddy approves its security. Now that sounds like a good thing, but remember: A scammer is NOT a hacker and security does not prevent a scam.in fact, your info may be secured ONLY to the scammers, so don't assume you're safe from online fraud. Also, their contact info is pure bull. When you call the number for their "office" or "company, " it quickly says the mailbox is full.
Tell me, what kind of company only has one phone line with a mailbox filled for days? People, this is a SCAM. PLEASE don't fall for this. I fell for it, and like hell I got my Wii! Who knows what else they'll do to your account. They could even try to find your SS and ruin your good name.
I did some searching on their domain, GoDaddy and it seems they created the domain under a proxy to keep their info hidden. Suspicious, eh?
