Buyers beware,
I purchased a portable dvd player & the Assurz plan from this company on 4/11/08, it was not working properly so I called Tigerdirect, I was instructed to call Assurz to have the item returned to them and have a refund issued.
I contacted Assurz the item was returned and received by them. On 5/9/08 I received an e-mail from Assurz letting me know that I would be receiving a refund check in 7-10 business days. It is now 7/2/08 no refund yet and worst of all It looks as if Assurz is out of business. Tigerdirect promised that they would be issuing me a check but nothing. I keep calling and I keep getting the run around with the it will be 7-10 business days. Please do not buy anything from this company unless you have money to throw away. Tigerdirect and CompUsa are owned by the same company so please be careful!
