Unfair Billing Practices

DirecTV has billed us for MLB Extra Innings two years in a row after we cancelled it both times. Today I called and spoke with Ruby, who informed me that they could not credit my bill (even though I did NOT pay the amount for the MLB) because the MLB season already started.

I replied that I did not order the package, had ordered what I wanted online, and MLB wasnt included, and that I would not be paying for something I did not order and did not want.

I was offered a $ 25 credit for the $ 100 package I didnt want. Am i losing my mind. I do NOT want your package and I am NOT paying for it. If you do not remove it, I still will not pay for it and you will lose a customer as I will immediately cancel my subscription.

I was transferred to Mat who acknowledged that I had been a loyal customer for 11 years. Mat listened to my complaints and also my description of the unfair billing practices that DirecTV was using. He has agreed to remove both of the MLB Extra Inning billings. I will anxiously await next months bill. Either way, I will NOT pay for it.

And if it is not resolved to my satisfaction, I will seek an attorney for a Class Action Lawsuit. Apparantly there are enough people on this web site alone with the evidence to support their unfair business practices.
