Promised a free month-received a bill in two weeks

I first heard of Helio through an old friend who strangely never called me again (probably because Helio scammed her too). She told me about the incredible phone features and it sounded great at the time. So i called, asked questions and warned them that I was new in the real estate game and my fiances would be stretched and could they handle me being late with payments. The rep. Replied " oh, definitely our boss deals in real estate so it's perfectly fine. THe deal seemed incredible and I had a whole month to get my fiances in a bit of order; so I purchased the drift and a bluetooth. The representative who processed my purchase promised me a free month of service that i never got. I received a bill in two weeks so i called in. This rep. However told me that basically I was lying and Helio only offered a free month once a customer refers two or three other customers. I knew what I had been told but i needed my phone; so i let the subject of my free month go. I asked if my billing date could be changed to accomdate my payment schedule; because having my phone at this time was crucial. I told them I was leaving on business so could I be late on my payment (even though i wasn't supposed to be paying a bill anyway) because I don't get paid until the flip is done and currently I was broke. The rep. Complied but it never happened my phone was cut off and I was so far from home and I was terrified with no way to reach family, friends, or coworkers. I used a stranger's house phone and called Helio, by this time furious. They ignored me once again and gave only a suggestion that i pay the bill. Why should I pay people I can depend on or trust? I finished my project but my bills were out of whack; because i didn't have a phone to call and let them know I would be late. All my bills were charged with late fees and my check dwindled before my eyes. I phoned Helio in an attempt to get my service back but they said if I paid half the phone would be on only temporary (about a week) and the other half would have to be paid shortly before it was disconnected again. I decided to wait until I got my next check; which was three weeks away, because I knew it was impossible for me to have the rest of the money in a week.By the middle of the month, I had the money but they had already cancelled my contract for me. They assured me that I had three months of non-payment before the contract was cancelled when I called. It had only been three weeks!!! I told them I was reporting them if it was the last thing I did. They went on about how they sent me tons of emails about disconnecting my service completely; that I mysteriously never got. The rep. Told me i had 160 days to pay the disconnect fee and the bill but they reported me to a collectoion agency after two months. I have not paid a dime and i don't intend to!!!
