I purchased a 1gb Lexar SD card from Wal*mart for my Garmin GPS. It is defective. It will only hold 165 mb. Wal*Mart will not take it back because it is an "electronic data device". I contacted Lexar support and was sent to a non English speaking chat tech. After 1 hour of explaining that it was only recording 165 mb and not 165 pics I got a promise of a RMA request email within 2 hours. When I finally did receive the RMA email it stated that I had to pay for shipping. I already paid for the defective item. I paid for the gas to try and return the defective item. Now I have to pay for shipping on the defective item and wait 10 days to get something I paid for back, maybe.
It seems that Lexar digital media thinks they are the only digital media manufacturers in the world. The HP and PNY SD cards that I bought this morning. Work fine.
