I ordered a Nintendo Wii Console for $249.99 from Shopcorrect.com with FedEx 2nd Day shipping. As soon as I placed the order, I received a confirmation email from Shopcorrect.com, immediately followed by two emails from "Ahwoogah.com". The suspicion began...
The first email stated the amount charged and my confirmation number which matched the info from Shopcorrect. The 2nd email stated that my order had been shipped. Since I placed the order on Monday 3/17, with 2nd day shipping, I figured I would receive my order by Thursday.
Today, 3/20... I checked my credit card statement and there was a charge from Ahwoogah.com with an 800# next to it. Curious as to when I would receive it, I called the number to find that it had been temporarily disconnected. So, I tried to visit Ahwoogah.com to find that the website does not even exist! Shopcorrect.com doesn't seem to have a contact number, so I emailed them but have yet to receive a response.
When I googled Ahwoogah.com, the very first link was the complaint Website, and George reciting my same story. I am extremely angry as I purchased the Wii as a birthday present for my Fiance and just spent an hour on the phone with my credit card company disputing the charge. Do I report them to the Better Business Bureau?
