Had fraudulent charges from nextel and caused me over $2100 in charges

Its been an ongoing battle ever since I first switched to Sprint/nextel in December. I originally setup an account by ordering on the web at sprint.com. Upon receiving my cell phones dec 21st of 2007 there was no account set up with the phones. This is when everything started going down the drain.

I spent almost 8 hours on the phone trying to activate a new account with the phones that they sent that should have already been applied to the new phones. I talked to almost 8 different customer service representatives. After all was said and done I finally got my phones activated but this is where it all begins!

I went Christmas shopping December 23rd and was at the Disney store when my card was declined. Now I make a good living but around this time of year I am pretty broke. I couldnt figure out why my card would be declined because at the time I should of still had $380 in my account.

I went home and logged onto my computer only to find I was charged three times for my phones and account activation. This was a charge of $186 x 3 for a total of $558. Now I already had five checks out waiting to clear the bank but because of the issue I had with sprint when I contacted them the only thing they said they could do was repay one of the charges and the other would be in 10 business days because it didnt show up on the system.

It took until 26th to even get one charge back and by this time my checking account was already in the hole by NEGATIVE $638 because of each check being returned and the cost of $34 for each return fee. I had no money to put into my checking account so I got to sit back and watch as each one of these checks got ran 3 times each for $34 each individual time.

I put over $1800 in cash into my checking account and I have not used it since this situation happened and I am still to this day Negative $332. Its been a constant game of catch up and panic attacks. I have had to call each month because the first two months I opened my bill I had a charge for $442 and it was because they had my plan screwed up. I honestly dont know what to do at this time. I am ready to toss in the towel.

My recommendation! Never sign up for sprint! They are loosing more and more customers every day and i see why! Stay away from this company and dont get ripped off like i did!!!
