I went in looking for some new phones as a gift. I ended up buying 2 samsung phones that were well okon a Sunday. We took them home and they were really bad on reception and not very user friendly so I went back to the store to return them.
First I called them and spoke to Chris (the DM) to let them know I was going to return them and I would be there Wednesday (this was monday). When I got their wednesday I was told by Neil (on of the idiots) he would have to send his boss Chris and email to get approval and this would take about 3 days. Totally unacceptable, especially after I called and told them I was going to return the phones, he could have sent the email Monday and by Wednesday I would have been taken care of.
So I leave and call them everyday from thursday to friday about 3 times a day to find out about the email. When I speak to Chris next he offers me a phone that has been discontinued, but it was the one I wanted. I told him if he can get it to me for the same price then I will exchange one of the phones but that I was still returning the other phone.
My new phone does not get here till Tuesday, already more than a week dealing with these idiots. I go to return the phone and get my new one and Chris/Robert boosted up the price on me buy $50.00. I told him I did not want any of the phonesbecause that was not our agreement.
So basically they told me I was stuck with the new phone they would not accept a return on the phone because they had to order it for me. Not only was I forced to get the used phone that was suposed to be new but I also had to pay and extra $50.00. I also have to wait 3-4 weeks for a refund check from the other phone I returned. Unbelievable!
Moral of the story do your homework before you go to any of these so call AT&T stores that are not really AT&T. Go to the corporate stores instead, they have better staff, they know what they are doing and if you need to return something it won't take 5 weeks to get it taken care of.
I will never go to Cellular Express Plus for anything. Not even accessories.
