Worse business practices ever!

I purchased a laptop thru Laptopbroker on Dec. 11th 2007. When I recieved the unit it was defective. Both the battery didnt hold a charge and the unit would not burn cds. After three weeks of trying to contact them i was finally given a proper return address.

In the meantime I purchased a new laptop, since the turn around time was so long. When they finally deemed my laptop defective they issued me a refund. As of this day the refund is pending for 308.00, this being two weeks later.

The problem with this is that i paid 420.89 for the unit. Then also had to pay 36 dollars to ship the item back to laptop broker. Where the unfair business practice comes it to play due to the fact that i lost out on over $140.00 just to return a defective laptop. Also when leaving negitive feedback for the company on ebay. They lied and stated that the transaction was 100% positive. I have been waiting to hear from the president of the company for over threes weeks now and still no answer. I would definately steer away from purchasing anything from this company.
