I took a camera back to H.H. Gregg. I purchased the camera on 4/11. I had some problems worth the camera so I took it back in late December. I told the customer service rep that it was not working. He took my camera and told me it would be back in about 6 weeks. After six weeks I received a call from H.H. Gregg stating that I need to pick up my camera and that it was not repaired but I owe $59.81 cents for having it shipped to the manufacturer. I was never told of any charges or that there was a fee. I did receive some paperwork but it only has general information, name, type of camera and condition of the camera.
After speaking with the Rudest General Manager alive. I finally got upset myself. He said that I won't get the camera back until I paid the fee, very rudely and that if I did not like it here is my name and the corporate phone number and he then handed me his card. I then got very upset and said a few expletives at him and proceeded to leave. He then came from around the counter and followed me outside and told me NEVER to enter "his" store again.
The General Manager's name is Ted Kozlowski. A big jerk. While leaving out the store I called him another name, which I regret and he once again Yelled get out of my store. The whole point of the issue is that No one told me, nor gave me any information that there would be a fee for the camera. The camera cost only about $89.00, so why would I or anyone pay $60.00 to have it looked at and not repaired. Does this make sense to anyone?
I am formally filing a complaint and if this is not resolved I plan on taking the matter so small claims court. Whatever the cost.
