Non-Delivery of Product and No Refund

On 11-19 I ordered over $280 worth of merchandise from this company. They immediately charged the money to my debit card. I wait a week and no word from them.

On 11-27 I get this email:

"Thank you for your business.
The order you had placed was on backorder but now we have that phone in stock and are working hard to get it shipped out to you.

We have been backlogged due to the overwhelming customer response and are working very hard to get everything back in order.

We value you as a customer and for your inconvenience we are offering you a free car charger.

We apologize for the inconvenience this delay may have caused you and look forward to serving you."

On the right side of the email it showed my shipping status which said "shipped" but they supplied no tracking number.

After a few more days I emailed customer service and told them to cancel my order and issue me a refund. They replied and said it would take up to two weeks for the refund to go through. So I wait and wait for my refund and I never get it. It's been two months and I haven't heard back from them despite my constant emails.

I talked to my bank in person and they basically told me that since the money was drawn from a checking account there was nothing they could do about it. Had it been a credit card account, they would be able to give the money back.

Lesson Learned.
