Outsourcing of jobs nearly cost me my account

We've been Dish Network customers for 4 years. On November 17th of 2007 we moved putting our address change in with them 2 weeks in advance. We first tried to do it a month but they automatically cut off our locals. What happened to call ahead before you move. I complained to them and they proceeded to tell me that the computer does that, fix the computer already it was written by a human and is not intelligent as those who wrote the program, this was met with a we're not fixing it for you.

Ok, moving on to the near present. We received service a week after we moved after calling before we moved like told and we we told it was going to be a week before they could get us hooked up. We patiently waited and everything went smooth until we did not receive our bill in the mail for December. Both myself and my wife called about the issue to be told it has been corrected. January rolls around and we get a pop up on our screen to pay our bill. I called the number to set up a payment plan and was not thrilled to talk to a lady from India who could barely be understood (damn Bush and his corporate outsourcing tax for corporations). I spoke with her for over 20 minutes about the issue and they wanted to penalize me for their mistake. I hung up on her and she went ahead without my permission and changed my account. I found this out because i called the home office in Englewood, Colorado and spoke with a mildly retarded gentleman who was un-phased by the dilemma. He told me that, here is the kicker, the computer did it and they're not going to fix what works for the likes of me. I asked him when they outsourced the jobs why wasn't his the first. We went back and forth about why Dish Network would penalize the American people by allowing the people of India to screw up so badly. Why would they continue to make the American people pay the consequences for what the company has done.

After a heated exchange with the gentleman who seems to get dumber and dumber as the time went on, i told him a good where to go and hung up. I then called back and asked for Charlie Ergen, the C.E.O. Of the company. I was given one of the executive assistants whose name is Nicole Anaya who was able to make the proper changes and the extension was granted with out an argument or an exchange of words.

I'm writing this to let you know the way this company thinks of the American people who keep them in business. DirecTV isn't any better. Dish Network is not open to information that might help them better themselves unless it's in the service of the product. Their customer service talks how they want to talk, does what they want to do and because of their outsourced jobs, listens to only what they want. Maybe if enough people, just enough people call or write the company they can change the way they do business or at least look at the way things are being done. They are shallow people when it comes to understanding the that it is the AMERICAN PEOPLE who keep them in business. If they won't change, then i suggest we change them by not using their service or by not voting the present government back into office. This has got to stop!!!
