I ordered an unlock code for a RAZR V3 through this company. Two days after placing the order I was sent an e-mail stating that they were unable to "generate" a code for me and instructed me to follow a link provided in the e-mail. This link was to download software which "may" help me to unlock the phone myself. The disclosure on this was disturbing! It said I should back up all of my data because it would be lost during the process. It also required that you download not only thier software, but another application that was required to make their software work. It also stated that they were not responsible for any damage to the phone or your computer if you used the software!
This process also would require a cable that you were responsible for obtaining... And all of this and the software only "may help you". I was not willing to take the risk of damaging my phone or computer. After reading other complaints I filed a complaint through PayPal in hopes of getting the funds back.
Also note that this is NOT a US-based company, which I did not know until I had completed my PayPal payment and it was listed as a "Non-Verified Non-US Company". It really bothers me that PayPal does not do more to protect the consumer in advance!
Long story short, this is a total scam. Save your money!
