My niece's phone broke after several months. Went to Alltel store and they did not have her model and told her to order online. Account is in MY name.
Got new inside components and put them in her phone. Put broken components in THEIR envelope they sent to return it in. Mailed it the next day. They say they never got it.
First Customer Service rep said I was to have sent it FedEx.
Second CS rep said I was supposed to put a tracking number on it through USPS.
Third was total idiot.
Niece's phone broke again at college. They mail new one. I Told her to pay for tracking this one since they say I owe $165.00 for broke one they did not receive. She goes to Post Office and asked for tracking number to be put on it. They inform her Alltel has their own tracking numbers on it already and they cannot put one on it.
Call CS rep again and tell all the stories I have been told. He says I am lying but he will put a trace on it. Told him to look at the computer screen and he will see that was done 2 months ago. He informs me they do not keep track of any call you make.
Now it is the USPS's fault he says. Have postmaster working on dealing with a company that does not care enough about their customers to even keep a record of any calls we make.
