On August 13, I mailed two letters by Priority Mail Service from the Churchville post office to an address in California. AS of August 23 the envelopes containing a credit card mailed to my niece has not been received. My wife has spent hours on trying to reach someone at USPS. After going through five people she was able to reach a supervisor who said that USPS uses FEDEX for priority mail and cannot guarantee 2-3 days delivery although I paid $11 for two letters. This is not the first time that this has occurred. I think post employees are overpaid government employees who are unable to deliver the goods. Why not contract out the entire USPS to a private entity and then may be someone could be held accountable - which is lacking in USPS.
The tracking number is as follows:
0307 0020 0004 4647 2793
0307 0020 0004 4647 2809
I was unable to track where the envelopes were using the USPS website. I have not heard from the postmaster at Churchville.
