I bought a T-fal waffle maker. It does not work right. The waffles are split apart when you open the iron. Plus, they are dry and crisp instead of fluffy as waffles should be. I complained to T-fal. Their response was for me to pay even more money to mail it to them to see if it is defective. I'm sure it's not just my waffle maker, so even if they replaced it, the new one will probably do the same thing. So, I am not paying to ship it them just for them to say it's fine and mail it back. Furthermore, when I bought it, the price tag did not say "$40 plus the cost of shipping it to have it fixed."
I am tired of dealing with T-fal. They need to stand behind their products and send a refund as well as a pre-paid shipping label if they want this one back.
