Does Not Honor 3 Red Light Error Warranty! A ripoff and lies!

I initially called the Microsoft Xbox technical support on 9/9/07. My Xbox 360 was experiencing the 3 red light error, which is covered under the 3 year warranty provided by the company. The tech I spoke to was able to get my system running again. However, she gave me a reference number #1043933834 and to call back if the problem happened again.

On the next day, 9/10/07, once again my Xbox 360 had the 3 red light error. I called back their technical support department and gave the representative my reference number. Myself and the representative tried getting the system working. Either it was showing 3 red lights or it would start up and freeze within 2 minutes of putting the system on. The representative stated that I needed to submit the system for repairs.

I went to verify that this would be covered under the 3 year red light error warranty. He said that since the error was not happening all the time that it doesn't fall under that warranty and would go under the general one year warranty that covers the entire system. However, since the system is over a year old, the warranty is expired and I would have to pay for the repairs.

After further discussion, I asked for a supervisor which he refused to do. I now have a broken system which is worthless that clearly falls within the 3 year guarantee and Microsoft is refusing to cover it.
