We have had Direct TV since March with a one year contract we kept service through July 5 with no contract when we decided to change to dish network. Well all went good till I called the customer service number for Direct TV, I got very upset with the agent and let my wife talk to them there customer service rep told her there would be a credit on the account and we should be getting a refund. Well about a week later we get a bill for $133.32 that is after the refund so we called again they said it was because we got the hd upgrade. Upon that I told them to look in there file because the receiver they clamed was there, was bought by me and they had the seller info in the file. A few weeks pass then I look at my bank account and find a pending charge from Direct TV for the $133.32. Called direct again and told them I didn't give the approval to charge this and wanted the transaction canceled. The reply was it would be canceled. The next day went to check on bank account and the transaction went though. I have reported this to the Sturgeon Bay police who also said they had no right to run the card without consent, and they were going to investigate the charges. That was 8-6.By the way my father also has Direct TV. And decided to call and see if there is a charge for him to disconnect and switch providers as he has not had service for the one year time frame, the rep told him on 3 different parts of the call there would be no charge.
