I bought a Samsung 46" LCD Flatpanel Television in January for $4,500.00. The image went on May 26th (14 weeks after purchase). The support seller stated the issue was the "lighting driver panel" and Samsung no further makes the design and it has NO COMPONENTS accessible. I really couldnot think a brand name producer wouldn't preserve components accessibility 14 weeks after-sale of the gear. Three individual calls to Samsung customer support later I then found out that it's accurate. The reaction I obtained from Samsung was that I ought to have purchased the extensive warranty because they don't have any obligation to keep my Television because it has gone out of guarantee.
