On May 3rd I called Thomson customer service to talk about a Lyra x3030 that the operating system went down. I asked where I could get it repaired as I only had that machine for 6 months. I was informed that I could send it back and would get a replacement within 7-10 days. After 18 days I called and was told that they had none in stock and they could replace if and only they get the same machinie back in stock. It could take 6mos or it may not happen at all.
When I asked for my machine back I was informed that could take 2-3 months to get back as well if they could locate it. Now they have my old MP3 player and are not replacing it with a new one. I have written the company president, the ceo, and public affairs director and haven't heard a word from any.
This is definetly a ripoff and I am out the money and the machine now and cannot talk to anyone about this. When I call again to customer support they are out of the country and I get the same scripted answer from each rep. What do I do now.
