I puchased a Sony 40" LCD 1080p ($2400) television March 28 from Conn's at 5515 Arapaho Rd. Addison, Tx (972) 763-0223. After having the television 48 days it went completely out and I was in total shock. I called the warranty department and was told someone could come out a week later to look at the television.
After the service guy came out I was told I would have to wait another week on the part. The television end up having a bad backlight. Basically the television's defective. The part that upset was the service I received from the sales center via the phone by a assistance mgr (J Castro).
After explaining my situation to him he suggested that I caused the problem and asked me what I wanted him to do about it. He never apoloized or even offered to direct to someone else. I was also told I needed to get the extended warranty and to stop complaining to him. This guy has no soul and is in the wrong position. He refuse to let me talk to his manager and told me I was wasting his time.
There sales are very agressive and they offer poor service at there corp office. When I puchased my television I followed and almost forced to make up my mind after just a few minutes. I feel I'm stuck with $2400 bill and a refurished television.
Conn's offers the worst service via corp office and local store. Every time I've come to make a payment on my account I'm aggressively harrassed by sales people who want leave me alone. Also there sales people have NO knowledge of the products there offering to you. I know was more about the product then sales person.
