I was contacted by a assistant manager at the Apple store in Braintree Massachusetts for an appointment for a job interview. So I thought okay... They might be interested and I can really show them that I am right for the company because I've used an Apple computer for 16 years. I also have extensive sales experience and great customer service skills which were noted in my resume.
So I called her back at her personal work number to properly schedule an interview. I didn't reach her the first five times I called and then on the sixth time she answered. We scheduled an interview for the 29th of April at the Braintree location. When I got there, there was 10 other applicants looking just as confused as me. This was NO interview, but a 90 minute "propoganda" (her words not mine) session on how great Apple stores are to work at. So at this point I expected a one on one interview, which I thought she said I was getting. The next thing I knew we were being rushed out the door with no chance for ANY type of interview.
I got drove 25 minutes to the store for an interview that never happened and was completely mislead. They wasted my entire morning. And if you live on the South Shore near Boston, go to the Hingham Apple store. They appear to be honest unlike tfitzpatrick!!
