Lees Audio and Video, BBB online - Better Business Bureau, Pricescan.com

I went to pricescan.com to find the cheapest price on the TV I wanted. Price scan's cheapest price was $419 the next one up was $512 a big difference. Lees Audio and Video had 5 stars over the words BBB online Safe Shopping. I decided it would be the best place to order from.

Monday, June 3rd
The JVC model AV-27F702 TV was ordered

Monday, June 10th
I called to find out what the status was on the order and the guy I talked to could not find it at first and said the order did not go through.

I called back and told him the exact date and he then found the order and told me they did not process the order because it placed to late at night but the TV would be picked up in two days. And arrive in about 5 days and should be at my house by Monday, June 17

On the order Page at www.leesvideo.com It states that the order will be processed in 2 days

Friday, June 14
I called and asked the status on my order and to get the tracking information. I was told that Fed Ex could not ship the TV because it was to big, but the TV would be shipped by truck and picked up in about two days. And it would be here by Wednesday, June 19.

Tuesday, June 18
I Called and was told that the shipping would be higher than it was with Fed Ex so they had to call all the shipping company to get the best price. But they would ship the TV right away and it would be here by next Monday.

Friday, June 21
I called and was told that it would be here in 3 business days it had already been sent to the shipping company. The tv was charged Tuesday, June 11 and that it had been on back order. (I was never told that.)

A week later I called and was told they drop ship the TV's and that the company that drop ships them had been waiting for conformation from me to raise the shipping price significantly more the hole time.

I told them to cancel the order and give me a full refund. They did refund me in full, but the 5 weeks I waited for the TV and got nothing and the whole situation was a big disappointment. They lied to me continuously and were too lazy to get up and finish my order.

I reported the incident to the BBB and I assumed that they would take care of it. But a couple weeks later I came to usacomplaints. Coms.com to look at other companies reports and noticed a link to the reports on BBB and decided I shouldn't expect any action from BBB against Lees Audio and video.

I believed that if a company operates that way eventually they will go out of business, but Price scan giving them 5 stars was the whole reason I ordered from their unorganized and cheaply made website. I believe that price scan is supporting a bad program (BBBonline Better Business Bureau) and should be urged to stop.
