I've waited for the alloted time of 8-10. The orginal rebate approval was 8-8-06. It is now the first week of November and no sign of a check. I've made several contact with OnRebate.com
Here is the following account of those transactions.

10-24-06 Made First Contact (They Acknowledged this Call)
10-30-06 5:16 PM On Hold for 44 minutes. A make picked up and said Thank You for calling on rebates.com are systems are down, please call back at a later date. Thank You _ Hung up On
10-31-06 9:30- 9:38 Talked with Shawn - would not give a last name - Says that the call center had received my message - That the check had to be Released It should be released on 11-3-06 and I should receive it on 11-10-06
This is the second website that has list and list of complaints by OnRebate.com. I think is extremly poor business when you get hung up on because it's quitting time and they didn't have the guts to tell you they couldn't help you to begin with, or use the line it will be in the mail next week. I will personnaly never ever ever ever use a rebate system again. Tiger Direct is at fault, OnRebate.com is at fault and Acer should be held resposnsible for terrible business practices. I've learned a valuable lesson and that you get what you pay for. Save yourself the aggrevation and do not use this company.
