I bought a Photosmart-335 on 12/22, which has a $50 rebate (offer# XPCV303) with any manufacturer's digital camera price at $129 or higher or any wireless cell phone with built-in digital camera. On 11/09, I purchased a samsung cell phone with built-in digital camera (model SGH-E335). The rebate offer time range was 10/02 - 12/31.
Obviously I am qualified for this rebate offer. I submitted all required documents (receipts, UPS bar codes, rebate form) at the end of the December. One month later, I can't find my rebate online. I called the rebate center. A customer representative asked me to wait a little bit longer.
Two Months later, I got a post card, saying, "your submission didn't show you purchased a digital camera". I called the rebate center and told a customer representative I bought a cell phone with build-in digital camera and which was quilified for this rebate, and a receipt for this cell phone had been included in my submission.
She asked me to resubmit it. I did and waited for another month. Still nothing. Called again, asked to wait for another month. Waited again, nothing, called again, another customer representative said he couldn't find my submission and asked me to fax the whole documents to the rebate center again. I did it.
Another two months later, I called, this time I was told this rebate had been expired and they couldn't issue me the check although I was qualified. What a terrible experience!!! It wasted me for much time. I don't think it's the right way to treat a loyal customer like me.
