I have never been a Sprint customer but decided to give them a try. They told me that I had an account that was not paid under my social security number but it had a totally different name attached to it not to mention in a state I've never been in EVER!
Now, I checked out my credit report a few months ago but no where at all under any of the 3 major places, was Sprint listed. Okay, I called them and told them, they TRIED to hook me up with their fraud dept but I just got looped around and around, just when I thought I was going to get to talk to someone, the beginning recording started all over again. WHAT THE HECK!?! I simply do NOT understand why this happened.
Why, when someone tried to use my social, when my name and address came up on the credit check and not this Rodriguez person in Michigan, did they go ahead and give them service??? Why? I need to know this! They surely had no problem letting ME know the name and number don't match!
Is there any recourse for me here? I've had so much trouble with my social security number and now I know why!
