Went in to "Associate Nextel Store" to get same plan my son had..."Free" incoming calls and Walkie Talkie Service... After outrageous deposit, got first bill for over $1000.00... Wow!!! Nextel Customer Service said I was signed up for different plan, and I couldn't switch to the "right" plan til I paid the billin full. I got second months bill (it took that long to try to straighten things out), another $1000.00 in charges...
I paid first bill and Nextel refused to change account stating that I had a 1 year contract that I signed... Refused to help me or understand that the associate that signed me up put me on the "National Plan" (no free incoming calls), instead of the "Nationwide Plan"... I had no info on which plan was which.
I merely stated that I wanted the same plan my son had with "Free Incoming Calls"... I paid the bill and ended up paying over $3000.00 for 2 months worth of service. Their customer service is rude, would not help but glad to rip you off!!! Watch Out!!!
