Dell by reputation is a great computer company-when i purchased the computers which were a total of 3 computers in a period of 3 days. I specifically had them repeat the payment plan that had been offered from one of the systems which the other 2 computers can fall under the same payment plan which was 18 months interest free. When i got my first statement i did not notice that 2 computers were put in a regular credit card plan which is not what 2 different customer service reps explained and read back to me at the time of purchase. When i got the 2nd statement i noticed what they had done so immediately called there 1-800 number twice finally when i finally got a manger he was not helpful would even try to figure what might of happened in the transaction after i had told him to listen to the recordings of those days because i had names and employee numbers of the account reps who helped me. So he went on to tell me that if i was not happy with the regular plan option which by the way is 23% interest (i would not be crazy to pay that) that i can pay the balance off the regular plan which is what i ended up doing becuase i was not getting any where with them. So when i get the next statement, they had appliet my payment to the interest free plan which i specifically specified on the check and in a letter where to apply the payment to. So when i called thet said they couldn't do that. I got very upset because again i had been told something false by a customer service rep. So i threatened to report them to the better business for terriible customer service, so this customer service rep was very nice and said my balance would be transferred to the interest free plan. I will never ever by a dell computer again!!!
