Have you received the following text message on your cell phone?
"alltxt4.com Poly USA subscription is being renewed. Txt help 4help srvice chrged 2ur cell bill 9.99 Pmth 1-800-235-7105 2 end txt stop"
I received this message from this company and had never heard of them before. I called the 800 number they gave to stop it and got a continuous rapid busy signal and was never able to get through. Coincidence?
I checked their website, and it does nothing. The website is just a listing of links to other websites that have nothing to do with their company. Links such as "Customer Service" and "Unsubscribe" appear, but they only give a listing of other non-related websites that may contain those words. There is no way to contact this company through their website.
In order to get a working telephone number, I had to call my cell phone service provider. Even then, it is automated with the first option (imagine that!) being to delete your cell phone number from their service. The second option is if you have specific questions, and if you press this one, you must leave a message - no live people.
This came in to my cell phone without my authorization or prior knowledge. There was obviously no subscription to renew and is just as obviously a scam. If you receive one of these messages, report it to your cell phone provider immediately. Then call 1-866-784-7712 to use their system to remove your number, unless your provider gives you a different number to call.
