I called to cancel my dish account today. It was a mess. I have a dual dish and it never works. Every time a tech is sent out to fix it, it costs me. I was transfered to 4 non-english speaking persons before I spoke with a male stating he worked in "Executive Resolutions". He spoke english well.
They want to charge a cancellation fee on a month-to-month contract! Not only this, the fee changed $160, $180, and then to $240! The male I spoke with said that I signed a 24 month contract but was unable to prove it. He said that my contract is not on file and it will take 4-6 weeks to locate.in the meantime, I will need to pay the fee. It is amazing that companies like this can make up any fee they want and say you owe it.
I have a vivd memory and know what I sign. I have everything neatly filed and would be able to produce this document if it were real. I have a feeling this is going to get very complicated so any suggestions will be very helpful.
