Digital Telecom Of Loganville ripoff Sold me a defective PDA will not replace it

After only 2 days of ownership, my LCD on my PDA went bad as I was using it. I took it back to Verizion and they said I must have done something to it, dropped it, sat on it, or otherwise cracked the screen somehow and therefore it is not their problem. I told them that I did not abuse my PDA, and I suspected it had a crack in it when I bought it, but they would not hear of it. They said if the display was bad, they would have seen it before they sold it to me. I told them I suspect there was a hairline defect that I opened up with the stylus while I was touching the screen with it, but again, they would not here of it. They simply will not entertain the idea that they sold me a defective PDA.

The truth is, I DID NOT drop, sit on, or in any way crack my LCD on my new PDA, as Verizon accused me of. I own a lot of different electronic items, and I know how fragile they can be, and am always careful with them.
The owner/manager of the Verizon store neglected to offer to sign me up for some free insurance on my PDA when I bought it 2 days ago, so he signed me up quickly and told me to go ahead and call it in. I asked him what good would insurance do me NOW, and he said he was just "trying to help me out." So, on top of selling me a faulty PDA for 400.00, they tried to get me to commit insurance fraud as well.
