On 8/24/05 I purchased 4 Razr phones with the understanding that I would receive four 3 month $50. Rebate checks, four 6 month $75. Checks, and four 9 month $75 checks. As shown on the website and also verified by phone with the customer service department of SimplyWireless. Regardless of which family plan I signed up for. This was part of the free black Razr phone promotion.
Two months after submitting my first 3 month rebate forms for all four phones I contacted Simply Wireless and was told only one phone qualified for the promotion. At that time the website had corrected itself and would no longer show family plans qualifying for more than one phone. After arguing that that was not the case back in August of 05, Vivian, a supervisor at the customer service department agreed to send me a $300. Check first and one subsequent 6 month $75. Check, and a 9 month $75. Check for a total of $450. Out of the original $800. I should have received.
So far after 6 months have passed, and many countless phone calls and emails all I have gotten is one $50. Rebate check. This company is as bad as it gets! Please beware of their business practices.
