On 8/21/05 I purchased 2 Razr phones with the understanding that I would receive two 3 month $50. Rebate checks, two 6 month $75. Checks, and two 9 month $75 checks. As shown on the website and also verified by phone with the customer service department of SimplyWireless. Regardless of which family plan I signed up for. I was told that this was part of the free black Razr phone promotion.
Two months after submitting my first 3 month rebate forms for both phones I contacted Simply Wireless and was told that they switched rebate centers and to call them. I called the new rebate center (rebatestatus.com) and they told me to fax the information to them. They inputed the information wrong and when I called 4 other times, I was told that my rebate account was locked for some reason, and that the rebate center couldn't change anything. I was told to call simplywireless back. I called them and was told by Vivian that only one phone qualified. I told her that that wasn't what I was told. She started marking excuses, and tring to make it sound like I was at fault. She then asked me to fax her a copy of my reciept, for what reason I don't, wouldn't they have it, and that she would call me back, and that the reason for my rebate being turned away was because we sent the wrong months bill in.
I have a copy of the whole rebate that was mailed and later faxed. So, I know that isn't true. She said she would call back, and hasn't as of yet. We have tried 3 other time after that day and we can't get her on the phone.
