I ordered a computer monitor from 'Silver Star Micro" last summer. The monitor never arrived. Chase Campbell, the owner, said that the monitor was no long in stock, and he would mail me a refund check. When that check never arrived, he said he'd issue another one. Soon after that, Chase Campbell refused to answer his phone or respond to his emails. To this day I have not received the refund check (I paid over $200 for the monitor).
I filed a report with the BBB who said that Chase Campbell would not respond to their calls. They wrote me an email today saying "this firms failure to respond to your complaint will be reflected in its BBB record. Accordingly, we will report that this firm has an unanswered complaint to consumers, businesses, banks, government officials, and members of the press who inquire about them." Do a google search for Chase Campbell, Silver Star Micro and all the other names the company goes by and you will see that many others have been similarly defrauded by Chase Cambpell (aka Tommy Campbell). One more thing: he has addresses both in LA and in NY, possibly others.
