How many people out there are not getting rebates promised on new DVR service? Yes, we finally resolved the matter, but it took over 5 months of badgering them to own up to their advertised rebate program. They WILL not provide their own customers with a phone number to the rebate center-as if a whole division of Directv is plodding along through their workday without benefit of phone service! What was most astonishing to us was the hang ups when their phone "experts" were at a loss as to how to resolve the matter. Tip... Do not use 1-800-494-4388... They just give up and hang up. Unbelievable! We finally were treated properly and worked through the B.S. After dialing 1-888-297-0945. I researched and discovered these are two different call centers with completely different views on what constitutes good customer service.
