The seller DESIGNER DREAMZ claimed to have ipods in stock at "her warehouse."
I bought and paid for 53 2 gb ipods and 35 4gb ipods. I paid via paypal with 3 different transactions.
The seller printed out labels for the largest transaction amount $6615 through the paypal system.
I received 2 boxes about 2 weeks later stuffed with newspaper and 4 ipods in one box and 5 ipods in the other box.
The day the boxes came we were supposed to meet the seller to pick up the rest of our merchandise that we paid for, but she cancelled last minute.
I contacted the seller regarding the shipment and she confirmed that I only recived 9 ipods and said it was an honest mistake. I was told that I would get refunds for all 3 transactions and I would then send back the 9 ipods.
The seller then told me that she couldnt do a refund through paypal, so I filed 3 claims with paypal. I provided paypal with converstaions and proof of the transactions. Paypal refunded the first two transactions but not the third because she printed out a label for 9 ipods and lots of newspaper and entered 10 lbs. So that alone was proof enough for paypal. This was obviously this sellers intention. I still have not received my money.
I have filed a compaint with the USPS mail fraud dept and the FBI's internet fraud dept.
