On 7-6-05 I took my nextel phone in for repair. It had gotten slightly damp and burned out the battery. I dried the phone and bought a new battery. It worked, but not 100%.
On 7-7-05 I went to pick up my phone. While waiting i overheard the service tech. Say He hadn't checked the phone. He came back and said it was still full of water and I could get it the next day. I left ihe store without saing a word.
On 7-8-05 I returned for the phone and the service tech. Stated it was fryed. So I bought another phone and took the old one home. After buying some contact cleaner I disassembled the phone and cleaned it. It worked 100%.
On 7-9-05 I went to the store and requested the superviser and service tech. Conveniently they were out. This display of busniess etiquette is becoming more prevalent in American businesses. I hope this letter sparks a change, but have my doubts.in the course of the event i have lost a great deal of money and more importantly faith in American society. Thank You for the opportunity to express my frustrations.
