Ripoff get billed for service you don't receive, poor customer service, won't take responsibility for their errors to your service

I've had my sesince 10. When I received my phone I had a question about my telephone number. I had requested a number that would be local to my calling area and was assured by the customer service individuals that my number was local. Wrong.

I found out in 01 when I called back to inquire as to how this situation could be corrected I was told that I could receive a local number but that they would not attach a message to the new number informing of the change to my number and that I would have to call all my family, friends, and clients myself. But that they were sorry for any inconvenience. Also within a week of my phone service I called twice to have insurance protection placed on the phone and was under the impression I had insurance since my service has been on. Wrong.

Not only did I not have service they failed to notify me that do to technical difficulties on their end it did not go through. I would have never found out if it wasn't for me checking my invoice to check on the high billing amounts. I also found they had been charging me for games that were not even on my cell phone.

I finally contacted their so-called retention department. This is where they send complainers and the first statement you will here is "and your reason for cancelling your phone service is?" Even though you never made any mention of cancelling.

Anyway one of their so-called retention representatives called herself making this customer happy by offering me another line with a free phone without my having to pay for deposit (waiving the deposit) due to all the frustrations I had gone through with sprint pcs since 10. I was told to expect the phone within 3 business days by monday June 13.

To date, no phone. I called sprint pcs back and now they are saying that they are not releasing the phone until I pay a deposit. I asked for a manager and was told they were in meetings and were unable to speak with me at the time and that one of them would return my call within 30 minutes. That was 1 hour ago. But the representative was sure to say "I apologize for any inconvenience you've had, is there anything else I can help you with".
