In September I sent in a Geforce 2 Pro card into PNY for repairs, that I bought from Best Buy. I did not receive a replacement card untill 3/7/05! During this six month period, I emailed the company via the RMA status form on PNYs' website, around ten times, but never recieved a reply. I also placed 4 phone calls, and was told "Its on its way!" or was forced to leave a message, which was never returned.
When I did finally receive the replacement card, it is a 59 dollar Geforce FX 5200! An absolute garbage graphics card, I wouldnt insult my mothers computer with such a lowly card! The geforce 2Pro I sent in, while it has aged, cost 200 dollars, and was the next to the top of the line model PNY offerd.
I have called PNY, whos techs tell me I should just be happy I got a replacement card, and their suppervisor Marinus Wolvers will not return my phone calls. A tech did make a tokken offer of exchanging the FX 5200 for a geforce 4 Ti4200, but why on earth would I choose another bottom line card?
