I ordered a model 311 Dish satellite receiver. When I got confirmation it read model 301 or model 311... The tracking # showed the delivery to South Dakota... I live in Cal.
DLS sent an e-mail correcting the delivery. I received the satellite receiver about 10 days after ordering and who would've guessed? I got the older model 301 rather than the 311 I ordered.
I decided to not pursue the screwing on the model so I called Dish to activate my new (?) receiver... There was a past due balance of $28.00 owed on my new (?) (in the box wrapped in plastic) receiver.
Dish told me all I had to do was call DLS and simply have them call DISH... DLS refused and told me I should send the receiver back and they would send me another... Another what? Another receiver with an even larger past due balance? I told them I don't trust them.
I decided to eat the $28.00 and write this instead.
