On February 19, I purchased my first cell phone with Sprint PCS service at a Radio Shack in Manhattan. I never left Manhattan, but the phone kept roaming. One week later, on my birthday, my service was cut off, completely unexpectedly — I had not made many calls.
I returned my phone to Radio Shack on February 26th, just one week after purchasing it. A few months later, in May, I received a bill for over 400 dollars which I disputed. My June bill was reduced to about $230. — they charged me a $150.00 "cancellation fee."
I've been disputing the bill but the people on the phone always say that I didn't cancel my service and was charged a monthly service fee. Seems to me like they're making a lot of money for no service. I'd be happy to join a class action suit or if anyone has any advice of what to do, please send rebuttal.
Thanks
