I purchased 4 pairs of curtains from Family Dollar, Store #8. I have been trying to return them for over a month now. I have been to 5 stores and every one of them has given me some lame excuse as to why I can't return them for a gift card. Granted I know that I forfeited a refund in cash b/c I lost my receipt, but I should not be given the run a round for a month on returning them for other purchases in the store or a gift card. I was told by the manager in store #8, that she would need to see proof of purchase, like if I had my receipt then I wouldn't need to return them for a gift card, I would return them for cash back. I have never experienced this type of customer service in my years of shopping with Family Dollar. I think it's safe to say that I will not be patronizing Family Dollar store any more.
